Crowns
When a tooth has extensive damage, including cracks, breaks, or severe decay, a dental crown can restore both function and appearance. Also known as a cap, a crown is a porcelain shell placed around a tooth to strengthen and restore it. It can also be used as an artificial tooth on top of a dental implant. Crowns can be completed within one to three appointments.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are the ideal replacement for many people with missing teeth, as it works to replace both the root and the crown of the tooth to restore your smile and promote long-term oral health. Custom-made to fit your mouth and to look natural, an implant is a root shaped titanium fixture that is surgically placed into your jawbone. Learn more about dental implants at KCAD »
Dental Bridges
Bridges are like crowns, except they are used to replace a series of missing teeth. Generally composed of porcelain or porcelain fused to gold, bridges are made to “bridge the gap” created by missing teeth. Like crowns, dental bridges can be completed in one to three appointments.
Dentures & Partials
Full or partial dentures are removable appliances designed to restore both function and appearance. Custom-made to your specifications (including bite relation and color), you can have your full or partial dentures within four to five visits. Keep in mind, regular dental examinations are still important for denture wearers so that fit and function can be monitored as well as the health of oral tissue.
